Stand-with-Subs-Header-ImageFight for the substitute teachers our students deserve

The Milwaukee Teachers’ Education Association is fighting for caring, quality, and professional substitute teachers for students in Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS). MPS is expanding its privatization of the substitute teacher workforce to the temp agency Goodwill TalentBridge. Privatization reduces public accountability and uses public resources for private profit. Our children deserve committed substitute teachers, not temporary workers. The best substitute teachers for our students are part of the MPS family. In order to attract the substitute teachers our students deserve, MPS needs to offer a quality health care plan for substitute teachers who make teaching their main job. respect-subs-photo

Call & email your school board representative today!

Tell the school board members you want quality, caring, and professional substitute teachers at Milwaukee Public Schools. This means ending the privatization of substitute teacher work to Goodwill TalentBridge, and providing a quality health care plan to substitute teachers who make teaching their main job.
