For teachers in year two, year three, year four, or year five of teaching
The ECLL is a collaboration between the Milwaukee Teachers’ Education Association (MTEA) and the National Education Association (NEA) to support future leaders of our profession as you strive to positively impact our students. This opportunity is a hybrid of in-person and virtual support. This is a program where teachers will identify 1-2 areas for growth/support. There are two required in-person meetings with fellow MTEA educators on Mon., Feb. 5 and Mon., April 9 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the MTEA office at 5130 W. Vliet Street. Dinner will be served.
Perhaps you want to focus on building a dynamic classroom community, building positive relationships with parents or growing your expertise in culturally responsive teaching. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage in teacher to teacher, professional development with exemplar teachers while collaborating with colleagues from your union. MTEA is committed to your growth as an educator and a leader in the education field.
Please RSVP below no later than Thursday, February 1. Please include what year of teaching you are in.
For additional information or questions, please contact MTEA Director of Teaching and Learning, Andrea Loss at 414-259-1990 or lossa@mtea.weac.org.
